Fall Sign-Up Season Is Open — and a Few Deadlines Land This Month
Open registration for the YMCA's fall season runs through Sept. 10, and Palm Beach Juniors' fall volleyball payments start Aug. 26.

If your kid plays anything this fall, the next three weeks are the ones that matter. Here is the rundown on local programs.
**YMCA of South Palm Beach County.** Season 4 runs Sept. 21 through Nov. 21. Member-only registration opened June 30 and ran to Aug. 10; open registration is Aug. 11 through Sept. 10. The Boynton Y offers youth soccer, basketball and volleyball, plus travel volleyball teams. Y staff frame the leagues around skill-building and sportsmanship rather than standings, which is the right fit for first-timers.
**Palm Beach Juniors (Club 4-U Sports).** The 2026 Mini/Fall volleyball league takes a $25 registration and evaluation fee, with the first $250 installment due Aug. 26 and a second due Sept. 26. The regular club season carries a heavier commitment — a $75 evaluation fee plus monthly payments beginning Nov. 1 — so treat fall league as the low-cost way to find out whether your player wants the club track.
**County parks leagues.** Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation runs youth programs and permits field time to independent leagues out of West Boynton Park and the surrounding sites; the two new turf fields there mean more available slots this fall than in past seasons. Program registration and payment go through the county's online system.
A note on cost: the county's card processor adds a 3% service fee on credit and debit payments made online or in person as of last October. Check or cash avoids it, and the fee is non-refundable.
Know of a league or club in west Boynton or west Lake Worth we should be listing? Send it in through our tip form and we will add it to the fall roundup.
