CityPlace to Host Inaugural Community Block Party September 17
Downtown West Palm Beach's shopping and dining hub is turning its north end into a walkable street festival for one evening, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Dreyfoos School of the Arts.
CityPlace is hosting its first Community Block Party on Thursday, September 17, from 4 to 8 p.m., transforming the north end of the West Palm Beach mixed-use center into a pedestrian promenade for the evening.
Rather than a single stage or ticketed event, organizers describe the block party as a walkable, storefront-by-storefront experience, with live music, family-friendly entertainment, and brand activations spread throughout the district. Cleveland Clinic and DoorDash are listed as sponsors of the event.
A portion of the evening's proceeds will go to Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, the magnet arts high school in downtown West Palm Beach.
