Inside The District: What's Actually Coming to West Boynton's Massive New Complex

The District, a sprawling 47.2-acre commercial development on the north side of Boynton Beach Boulevard just west of the Florida Turnpike, is one of the more ambitious projects reshaping West Boynton's growing suburban corridor. The project spans 522,611 square feet across eight buildings and was approved by county commissioners in August 2023 through a land-use and zoning change.

Notably, The District is one of the first developments approved under the county's new "Commerce" designation for the Agricultural Reserve, a zoning category created to allow denser commercial development along the Boynton Beach Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue corridors west of the turnpike.

Confirmed plans for the site include indoor pickleball and tennis courts, volleyball and baseball facilities, and a boutique gym, alongside a microbrewery with a tap room and a storage facility that will include specialty lockers for wine collections. The site's marquee racquet sports tenant, The Brook Tennis and Pickleball, has hit a delay — a 79,000-square-foot facility originally expected to open this fall now lists a winter 2026 opening, though its first 100 founding pickleball memberships have already sold out. Twisters Gymnastics is also joining the lineup, bringing preschool and recreational classes, a competitive girls program, camps, and birthday parties to the site.
