Oktoberfest at the American German Club for Two Weekends
The American German Club of the Palm Beaches celebrates its 52nd annual Oktoberfest October 9–11 and 16–18 — German bier straight from Munich, schnitzel, live bands from Germany, carnival rides, and family fun in Lake Worth.

Prost! The American German Club of the Palm Beaches brings back its 52nd annual Oktoberfest over two weekends, October 9–11 and October 16–18, at its Lantana Road grounds, one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in the country, right here in Lake Worth.
Gates open Friday 6 PM, Saturday 2 PM, and Sunday noon, closing at 11 PM Friday and Saturday and 8 PM Sunday, rain or shine, inside the clubhouse and under the big tent. Live music comes from Germany's Froschhaxn Express on the pavilion and the King Guys Band in the clubhouse, with a keg tapping, Parade of Flags, folk dances, and the stein-holding contest between sets.
On the table: German-imported Oktoberfest bier, schnitzel, roasted chicken, bratwurst, sauerbraten, and giant pretzels, plus burgers, hot dogs, and vegetarian options for the kids. A carnival with rides for all ages, a playground, and shops selling steins and dirndls keep the whole family busy.
The club is at 5111 Lantana Road. On-site and Buttonwood Park parking is $20 and limited; the free move is parking at Diamond View Elementary or Tradewinds Middle School and riding the complimentary shuttle. Tickets are on the club's website. Dirndl optional, gemütlichkeit guaranteed.
