West Palm Beach GreenMarket is back for a New Season on the Waterfront
South Florida's most decorated farmers market kicks off another Saturday season downtown, building on a run that's made it one of the most-awarded markets in the country.
The West Palm Beach GreenMarket returns to the downtown waterfront on Saturday, October 3, running 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. every Saturday through late May, at 101 S. Flagler Drive on the Great Lawn near Clematis Street.
The market has built a national reputation over more than three decades, winning USA Today's "Best Farmers Market" in the country three years running from 2021 to 2023, then placing second the following two years. Last season alone, organizers grew the market to a record 150 vendors, including 45 new additions, alongside more than 100 returning favorites and 14 "legacy vendors" who've been part of the market for over 15 years. A typical Saturday draws an estimated 7,000 to 10,000 visitors.
Shoppers can expect fresh produce, baked goods, coffee and tea, flowers and plants, and specialty foods, along with recurring features like live music, a rotating Pop-Up Wine Shop highlighting a different wine region each week, and the Master Chef Showcase, a free-to-watch culinary competition between local chefs held on the second Saturday of each month. The market has also leaned into supporting new entrepreneurs through its "Sprouts Program," a shared-tent initiative for emerging small businesses just getting started.
Admission is free, and the market is held rain or shine most Saturdays through the season, with occasional date exceptions announced closer to those weeks.
