Spookyville Brings an Old-Fashioned Halloween to Yesteryear Village
The family-friendly event brings safe trick-or-treating, a petting zoo, and live entertainment to the historic village at the South Florida Fairgrounds this October, with costume parades running each Sunday.

Spookyville comes to Yesteryear Village at the South Florida Fairgrounds this fall, running Oct. 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31. Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. on Fridays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Billed as a throwback to old-fashioned family Halloweens, the event fills the historic village's dwellings with trick-or-treating stops, alongside a petting zoo, live entertainment, and games geared toward younger children. DJ Mark will be on site each day, and a balloon twister will keep kids entertained between stops, with costume parades set for Sundays.
Now a longstanding West Palm Beach tradition, past seasons have added extras like a nightly light show, a witches' walk, magic shows, kiddie rides, and pumpkin sales throughout the village's historic buildings, which showcase Florida life from 1895 to 1945.
Tickets start at $10 for adults and $15 for children, with discounted advance pricing before Oct. 17; children 2 and under are typically free. Admission gates close a half hour before each night's closing time.
Yesteryear Village is located at 9067 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach, accessible via Sansbury's Way through Gate 3. The fairgrounds is also hosting a separate drive-thru Halloween event Oct. 23-31 for families who'd rather stay in the car.
