Spooky Safari & Pumpkin Patch Returns to Boynton Beach — And Yes, You Can Play With Otters
For its 7th year running, Animal EDventure Park is turning a corner of Boynton Beach into a Halloween wonderland where kids can hold a sloth, feed a camel, and pick out a pumpkin, all before lunch.

If you've been looking for something a little different to do with the kids this fall, Animal EDventure Park & Safari in Boynton Beach has an answer worth circling on the calendar. Its 7th Annual Spooky Safari & Pumpkin Patch opens Sept. 19th and runs through Nov. 1 at the park's private property off US Hwy 441, and it's exactly the kind of hands-on, slightly wild outing that tends to become a family tradition.
The regular Spooky Safari tour ($25 per person, kids under 2 free) walks guests through a Halloween-dressed version of the park's usual animal encounters — feeding camels, goats, and sheep, meeting a sloth and a kangaroo up close, and wrapping up at the pumpkin patch for photos and, of course, a pumpkin to bring home. For anyone who wants to go all in, the VIP tour lets guests actually play with and hold the park's otters, with an optional otter swim for the truly adventurous.
One thing worth knowing before you go: this is private property, reservation-only, so don't plan on just showing up. Tours are known to sell out, so it's worth booking ahead through AnimalEDventures.com if a sloth encounter or a pumpkin patch afternoon is on your fall bucket list this year.
